"The Highland Malt."
"Don't let the name fool you."
- Douglas Laing
Created by the prestigious independent bottler Douglas Laing, Timorous Beastie is named in honor of the immortal Scottish poet Robert Burns and his famous poem 'To a Mouse'. The label features a cute, timid field mouse, but the whisky inside is an unapologetically big, bold Highland blended malt.
The whisky is a masterfully vatted marriage of single malts from some of the most celebrated Highland distilleries, including Dalmore, Glengoyne, and Glen Garioch. Un-chillfiltered and naturally colored, it delivers a massive burst of sweet heather honey, rich vanilla, spicy cinnamon, and a remarkably long, warming finish.
