"The Colossus of Speyside."
"A technological marvel blending tradition and the future."
- Diageo
Opened in 2010 by Diageo with a staggering Β£40 million investment, Roseisle was the first major new distillery in Scotland in 30 years. It was built to produce malt whisky on a massive scale for blends, but has recently unveiled single malt releases that showcase its phenomenal versatility.
Roseisle is an engineering marvel. With 14 enormous copper pot stills and a highly advanced heat recovery system, it can produce everything from light, grassy lowlands style malts to heavy, meaty Speyside profiles. Their single malt expressions reveal a stunningly precise, sweet, and nutty character with layers of vanilla and orchard fruit.
