"The Spectacle of Bourbon."
"A perfectly balanced bourbon, crafted carefully."
- Master Distiller Chris Morris
Nestled amid the rolling bluegrass hills of Kentucky, the Woodford Reserve Distillery is a National Historic Landmark. Distilling on this site began in 1812, and it is here that the modern practices of sour mash and charred barrel aging were pioneered by Elijah Pepper and Dr. James Crow.
Woodford is uniquely triple-distilled in copper pot stills (rare for bourbon) and column stills, then matured in heavily toasted and lightly charred barrels crafted at their own cooperage. This meticulous approach yields an exceptionally smooth, complex profile with over 200 detectable flavor notes, blending rich fruit, vanilla, and sweet spice.
