"The Softer Side of the Highlands."
"To what matters."
- Tomatin Distillery
Founded in 1897, Tomatin sits at an elevation of 315 meters in the Monadhliath Mountains. During the 1970s, it operated a staggering 23 stills and was the largest malt distillery in Scotland, producing massive volumes for blends. Today, it has downsized to focus meticulously on crafting exceptional, high-quality single malts.
The pure, soft water from the Alt-na-Frith burn ensures an incredibly gentle spirit. Tomatin is renowned for its exceptional wood policy, aging whiskies in a vast array of high-quality Bourbon, Sherry, Port, and Caribbean Rum casks. It offers a trademark soft, fruity, and elegantly sweet profile.
