In 1263, the chief of Clan Mackenzie saved King Alexander III from a charging stag. In gratitude, the King granted the clan the right to bear the 12-pointed Royal Stag emblem. When descendants of the clan bought Dalmore in 1867, the iconic silver stag was placed on every bottle, symbolizing unparalleled luxury and heritage.

Guided for decades by master distiller Richard Paterson, Dalmore's signature style relies on long maturation in incredibly rare, aged Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks exclusively sourced from the Gonzalez Byass bodega. This creates a masterpiece of crushed almonds, dark chocolate, Seville oranges, and rich roasted coffee.
