Perched on the crescent beach of Sandend Bay, Glenglassaugh was founded in 1875. The distillery produced exceptional spirit but was mothballed and fell silent for over two decades. It finally reawakened in 2008, bringing its legendary, sweet coastal single malts back to the world.

The spirit is deeply influenced by the North Sea air that permeates its coastal warehouses. Glenglassaugh is unusually sweet for a coastal malt, boasting a rich, syrupy texture filled with ripe tropical fruits, buttery caramel, and a distinct, invigorating salty finish.
