Glenfarclas, meaning 'Valley of the Green Grass', was purchased by John Grant in 1865. For six generations, the Grant family has remained fiercely independent, fiercely protecting their traditional methods in an era dominated by large corporate conglomerates.

Glenfarclas is one of the very few distilleries still using traditional direct-fire heated stills, which adds a weighty, robust character to the spirit. They exclusively mature their whiskies in European oak Oloroso sherry casks, delivering an iconic, full-bodied symphony of Christmas cake, dark fruits, and spice.
