Founded in 1826 by James Allardice, The GlenDronach distillery is one of the oldest in the Scottish Highlands. From its earliest days, it has pioneered the maturation of whisky in the finest Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucia in Spain. The GlenDronach continues to adhere to traditional methods, using only the finest sherry casks directly imported from Spain for maturation.
