In 1801, brothers James and John Chivas opened a luxury grocery store in Aberdeen. Realizing their wealthy customers demanded smoother, richer whiskies, they began blending aged malts, inadvertently creating the world's first luxury blended Scotch whisky, Chivas Regal 25 Year Old, in 1909.

The soul of every Chivas Regal blend is the Strathisla single malt, produced in the oldest operating distillery in the Scottish Highlands. This imparts a signature core of rich honey, vanilla, and ripe orchard fruits, resulting in a perfectly balanced, extraordinarily smooth luxury blend.
