"The World's Oldest Licensed Whiskey Distillery."
"400 years of uncompromised Irish whiskey."
- Old Bushmills
The Old Bushmills Distillery holds a royal grant to distil whiskey awarded by King James I in 1608, making it the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world. Having survived a catastrophic fire, two world wars, and American Prohibition, it stands as the unbreakable heart of Irish whiskey.
Unlike many Irish whiskeys that use a mix of malted and unmalted barley, Bushmills' single malts are crafted using 100% malted barley. Combined with their signature triple distillation in copper pot stills, the spirit is extraordinarily smooth, light, and bursting with soft vanilla, sweet honey, and ripe orchard fruits.
