"The King's Own Whisky."
"Drink divine."
- King William IV
Founded in 1812, Royal Brackla was the very first Scotch whisky distillery to be granted a Royal Warrant, bestowed by King William IV in 1833. It became famously known as 'The King's Own Whisky', forever cementing its regal status in Scotch history.
The distillery uses incredibly long fermentation (up to 80 hours) to build a fruity, estery wash. The spirit is famously finished in premium Oloroso, Palo Cortado, and Pedro Ximรฉnez sherry casks, resulting in an opulent, velvety whisky overflowing with ripe peaches, dark berries, and rich cocoa.
