"Queen of the Lowlands."
"Pure Lowland Malt, crafted by hand."
- Bladnoch Distillery
Bladnoch, meaning 'place of flowers', was founded in 1817 and is the oldest privately owned Scotch whisky distillery in the world. As one of the few surviving Lowland distilleries, it was rescued from closure in 2015 by David Prior, breathing new life into the 'Queen of the Lowlands'.
Bladnoch uses pristine water from the River Bladnoch and sources barley from local farmers. Unpeated and un-chill filtered, the spirit is extraordinarily delicate, floral, and grassy, carrying elegant notes of lemon zest, vanilla, and sweet oak.
