Starting from a small grocery store in Edinburgh in 1827, George Ballantine began supplying hand-selected whiskies to his distinguished clientele. By pioneering the art of blending, he created a consistently smooth and elegant whisky that eventually earned a Royal Warrant from Queen Victoria.
Ballantine's relies on a complex blend of single malts from Glenburgie, Miltonduff, and Glentauchers, providing its signature notes of red apple, honey, and floral vanilla. Through five generations of Master Blenders, the exact recipe has been safeguarded to ensure uncompromised quality.
