Founded in 1815, Ardbeg has survived closures and changing ownership to become one of the most cult-revered whiskies in the world. Its location on the rugged southern coast of Islay gives the whisky its untamed, intensely peaty and smoky character, beloved by the 'Ardbeg Committee'.
